Already making huge waves across the underground with his deep melodic house sound, Subjekt and Young Alaska player Kris Davis teams up with Yost, to deliver one of the most musically stand out tracks of the year. ‘Relentless’ is a beautifully complex slice of deep yet driving house music, with arpeggiated synths, a rolling bass line and a powerful groove that will ignite every dance floor from sun-filled Ibiza terraces to the darkest of basements.
On the flip side, Kris Davis’s solo offering ‘Deviant’ is an equally stunning display of production craftsmanship. With intricate layers of synths and textures evolving over a no- nonsense beat, Kris takes us on a journey through shifting soundscapes, and demonstrates why he is rising quickly amongst the ranks of current producers.
A stellar remix of Relentless then comes from industry heavyweight Martin Roth, who immediately steps up the dynamics, adding a heavy groove, driving percussion and flawless hands in the air moments, to deliver the main dance floor cut on the release.
For the final remix, Constant Circles staple Martín Vidal once again delivers a slice of pure brilliance, adding moody pad textures, bubbling synths and swaying percussion, in his deep and haunting interpretation of the original.
